Cheerleading team member junior Faith Fisher said that this was her second year helping with the Buddy Walk. Fisher said that the Buddy Walk was to support the two girls on the cheer team that have Down’s Syndrome.

“It feels good to be supporting the girls who have Down Syndrome in our cheer team, people should come out and walk with us to support everyone,” Ambrose said.

After the walk, the cheer team gave a little performance to everyone. Fisher had a lot of fun performing with the cheer team. “People should come and watch us, it’s very interesting,” she said.

The signs and shirts were made to support the girls. Both the cheerleaders and the coach wore the shirts to show support. “You can make your own signs and shirts to support the girls, it’s a lot of fun,” Ambrose said.

In the future she would like to do this again because it’s a good cause.
“I would definitely do this next time and people should totally come and support,” she said.
