Hello Capital!
The Andrus Center for Public Policy is hosting a one day Young Women and Leadership conference for 9-12th-grade students. This conference is modeled after the extremely successful Women and Leadership annual conference also put on by the Andrus Center.  Students will get to hear from many women in leadership positions in our community through two wonderful keynote addresses, and two skill-building workshop sessions.  Students will also participate in a networking reception with community leaders and organizers which will allow them to utilize some of the skills learned in the conference and perhaps open the door to opportunities, like mentorships!
The conference is open to females and males 9-12th grade.  It is a one day conference held on February 15th at BSU.  The cost is $20 which includes all the activities listed above and lunch.
This is not a school activity, so students will need to have parent permission to get an excused absence and they will need to provide their own transportation.
