    TRIO Upward Bound member sophomore James Peterson said he liked to meet new people. They got to meet people from different schools and different districts.

     “It’s nice to make new friends and to learn people’s hobbies,” Peterson said.

     Another thing he said was TRIO Upward Bound’s like a family. They are always there for one another.

    “We spent the whole summer together so we know each other very well,” Peterson said.

     TRIO Upward Bound did Rake Up Boise to help people out. They went and raked up yards for people who were not able to do their own yards.

    “I like seeing smiles on people’s face,” Peterson said.

     In the future Peterson hopes to keep continue doing Rake Up Boise.

    “I recommend doing it. It’s fun,” Peterson said.

     TRIO Upward Bound member senior Andrew Dimathas said that Rake Up Boise was a fun event. They did it with their friends.

    “I get to dump leaves on people,” Dimathas said.

     They helped people who couldn’t do it themselves. He said that it was a great experience.

    “It’s great meeting old people,” Dimathas said.

     TRIO Upward Bound went to the Boise State football game after raking up leaves and it was very cold.

    “Bring a lot of blankets,” Dimathas said.

    In the future he would like to get more people involved.

    “Do it if you like helping people,” Dimathas said.
