What is a typical charge, in today’s market, for a new uniform per set to be bought? Cheer leading uniforms can range anywhere from $75 – $200.00

Do you charge the girls rent for the uniforms each year? Yes, $40

How old are the current uniforms the girls wear?

How would you improve the Capital High School uniforms if you could (and no $ limitations)? I would love to be able to have a uniform that is made to be more athletic and lighter weight so that they weren’t too hot and the material wasn’t as thick and uncomfortable. Those types of uniforms exist, they just cost more.

What do you think is the purpose of uniforms? To identify the team as a solid team and group that represents their school with dignity, modesty and pride. A uniform should show school spirit and it creates the unity that teams should portray. When a team puts on a uniform they are visibly reminding themselves and others of the commitments they have made to themselves, their teams and their school. It represents the standards set forth by the school, the team members, coaches and families who have committed to support their goals and standards. Uniforms are symbols of pride, courage, commitment, tradition and sacrifice.
