Girls JV Soccer

With a record of 1-9 on Oct 22 Head Coach Katie Omercevic said that the highlight of the season for the Girls JV Soccer team was when “To “continuing improving our ability to work together as a team with every game.”

Omercevics’ personal highlight for the season was “Seeing how working together as a team, and applying what we have worked on in practice allowed us to have a win over Borah.”

New this season was “All girls have played a new position with the limited number of players on our team this year. We’ve had about 4 girls try out goalie for the first time!” she said.

Her first year coaching Junior Varsity, Omercevic said that one athlete of note was junior Adaela Stigile because “I know as a coach, I can rely on her to effectively communicate on behalf of our entire team. She is highly reliable and always shows up & works hard.”

Two more athletes of note were sophomore Ani Carnell and Junior Ady Klemme because, “Together they have done an awesome job encouraging their teammates and leading with positivity.”

In the future, Omercevic looks forward to, “Seeing how much we have improved since the start of the season.”
